World of Park & Leisure Homes Show 2019 - review

Our contributor Andrew Jenkinson visited the World of Park & Leisure Homes Show in Stoneleigh to check out the latest models, and was suitably impressed by some exciting developments in manufacturing…

It seems to come round quicker each year but this show is as popular as ever with never a dull moment. The weather wasn’t as good as last year but that didn’t stop both trade and the public at weekend. With free entry and all the major manufacturers attending, this is a show that gives you an inkling of what’s happening for 2020.

With recent data showing that the state of the nation’s mental and physical health is an ongoing concern, a major consumer event next month is set to showcase ways in which the outdoors can improve the wellbeing of people of all ages.

For last year’s Mental Health Awareness Day, statistics were released showing that one in four people in the UK experience a mental health problem every year and that the most common mental health condition is anxiety. It also demonstrated that half of all mental illness begins by the age of 14 and that three quarters of all mental health problems are established by the age of 24.
