Beaulieu show announcement from HERCMA

A statement was released from the organisers of the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturers’ Association (HERCMA) shows recently, regarding the future of its southern show Beaulieu.

It said the “enormous commitment” of running the Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo 2020 (formerly Lawns) in Harrogate had led to its “difficult decision not to hold a southern show in 2020 which has traditionally been held at Beaulieu in the New Forest”.

HERCMA’s Chairman said: “We have a responsibility to ensure Harrogate is a monumental success and need all resources focussed on delivering this exciting, epic new proposition to both the public and trade.

“Coupled with the dates not falling conveniently, we have taken the hard decision not to go to Beaulieu in 2020. This is not the end of the southern show but we are unable to facilitate it in conjunction with Harrogate next year.” HERCMA logo - Beaulieu organisers

Focus on 'the most exciting major new event for the caravan industry'

Organisers added that the Harrogate show would be “the largest outdoor caravan and leisure show in the UK (and possibly Europe)”.

The statement continued: “The Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo 2020 promises to be the most exciting major new event for the caravan industry calendar which requires time, planning and fiscal commitment in order to ensure it is the massive success the industry wants it to be.

“If you would like to exhibit at this new event, please contact, one of the organising agents for the show.

“There will be three public days on 11th, 12th and 13th September, followed by three trade days on 14th, 15th and 16th."
