Willerby, the UK’s largest manufacturer of holiday homes and lodges, is inviting its customers to an exclusive preview of its 2020 collection at its showground in Hull from 25th June to 26th July.

The event will give customers the chance to explore the latest additions and brand new models as well as taking a look at updates to a variety of current products.

Holiday homes and lodges such as the Linwood, Skye, Kelston and Acorn will be on show, alongside a brand new model due to launch mid-July. The exciting, new addition is based on an original holiday home by Willerby dating back to 1956, and is designed with elegant, state-of-the-art features to suit its modern audience.

Visitor Centre at Tingdene Homes

With the year drawing to an end, we are beginning to start work on a very exciting 2019. Our team has spent the last few months developing designs for a new range of park homes and holiday lodges. To adequately showcase the innovative and ground breaking new ranges, the decision has been taken to renovate the Tingdene Visitor Centre.

The centre, launched in 1984, is the only indoor park home and holiday lodge showroom in the UK. Few big changes have been made since it opened its doors over 30 years ago making this a very exciting time in Tingdene’s development.

Victory outperforms expectations at Cottingham show

Victory Leisure Homes - Peter Nevitt at the Cottingham Parks Lodge and Caravan Show

by Nick Glaves

Leading East Yorkshire caravan manufacturer Victory Leisure Homes outperformed expectations at this year’s Cottingham Parks Lodge and Caravan Show, after concerns Brexit might dampen the market.

Managing director Peter Nevitt, who has more than 40 years of experience in the industry, said he thought show attendance and overall spend would be down, due to continued turmoil in the UK’s political landscape.

But Mr Nevitt’s fears were allayed from the very start of the show, when the company immediately began making sales.

Park owners and operators were particularly impressed with Victory’s latest lodge model, the Cézanne, which launched at the show and racked up a solid number of orders.

Survey of holiday park sector – your last chance to take part!

Many Caravan Industry readers will be aware of the major research being carried out this year into the impact of the holiday-park sector on the UK economy, funded by the Economic Impact Research Group (the BH&HPA, the Camping and Caravanning Council, the Caravan and Motorhome Council and the NCC).  Both individual parks and groups in all four countries have been contacted by the EIRG to encourage them to take part – as with all research, the more information gathered, the more robust will be the output!

Such a UK-wide survey has not been done before and the report will be of significant importance not just to the sector as a whole, but potentially also to individual parks when applying for planning permission.

Tingdene Homes to unveil new website

Tingdene Homes will be unveiling its transformative new website this month, which has been commissioned to redefine the digital experience for both buyers and park owners in the holiday lodge and park home sectors.

The new website is part of Tingdene’s own reinvention, which coincides with the Wellingborough-based company’s 50th anniversary and their recent re-brand that encourages customers to discover the Tingdene Difference.
